Important Features

Once you and your builder have chosen the floor plan you want, and made the necessary changes, the engineers at All American Homes use a Computer Aided Design (CAD) system to prepare the specific plans of your home. Plans are carefully checked by our experts, to make sure the specifications match your order before going to the factory for construction. Prior to the start of any construction, you will be asked to sit down with your builder in both a preliminary and a final plan approval process, and review the plans to be certain everything is as you've specified.  And, once in the factory, our craftsmen use state-of-the-art machinery and construction tools to ensure that your home is built to last a lifetime. Each step of the construction process is carefully inspected to meet or exceed state and local building codes.

After the wood frame is constructed, professional electricians and plumbers begin their work; after the electricians and plumbers are done, the house has energy efficient insulation and windows installed. When the drywall experts and painters finish their work, and all of the fine Merillat cabinets have been securely installed, the house is wrapped in plastic and tarps. Your home is now ready to be transported to the job site.  Your home is taken from the staging area and loaded onto the delivery trucks for transportation to your building site. Once your home arrives on site, cranes will then set the house on your basement or crawlspace foundation. After the roof trusses are raised and secured in position, the remaining components are quickly finished. The house is then made weather tight before the day is over.

The final completion of the outside of the home and the process of interior finish will begin shortly after the home is set. The factory-trained crews finish the inside, add finishing trim, and install several interior doors. Once plumbing and electrical utilities hookups have been completed, and carpeting has been installed, your home is ready for a lifetime of memories and comfortable living.

Prior to occupancy, a walk-through will take place between the homeowners and the builder to determine whether there are any areas of the home requiring attention, and the information obtained is sent to All American Homes. If service is needed after the home is built, your builder will be there to work with you to make sure any problems receive attention, and skilled contractors are available to resolve the problem, with no additional charges to you.
